Father of the modern day swing. Nelson won the Masters in 1937 and 1942,
the US Open in 1939 and the PGA Championship in 1940 and 1945. In 1945
Nelson won 18 of 35 PGA tournaments including 11 in a row
"Arnie" Arnold Palmer is a Member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. Arnie
won 62 PGA and 10 Senior PGA tournaments. In the Majors, he won four
Masters in 1958-1960-1962 and 1964; the US Open in 1960; and the British
Open in 1961 and 1962.
The Hall of Fame golfer was a 6x Ryder Cupper and 6x Major champion, he
is also a 5x winner of the Vardon Trophy which is awarded to the lowest
scoring average on tour that year.
This auction will end on Wednesday, August 31st at 10pm ET with extended bidding to follow. All initial bids must be placed by 10pm ET in order to participate on those lots during extended bidding. Lots with two or more bidders will each have their own 30 minute countdown clock, and it will be extended by 30 minutes any time those lots receive a bid. If no bids are placed on a lot within a 30 minutes time period during extended bidding, the lot will close. A 19.5% Buyer’s Premium will be applied to each item won in auction.
