Hof Tom Watson, ChiChi, Johnny Miller & others Signed 1977 Tucson Open Program
In the 1970s and 1980s, Watson was one of the leading players in the
world, winning eight major championships and heading the PGA Tour money
list five times. He was the number one player in the world according to
McCormack's World Golf Rankings from 1978 until 1982; in both 1983 and
1984, he was ranked second behind Seve Ballesteros.
Juan Antonio "Chi-Chi" Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican professional golfer.
The winner of eight PGA Tour events, he was the first Puerto Rican to be
inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame
One of the top players in the world during the mid-1970s, he is the
first to shoot 63 in a major championship to win the 1973 U.S. Open. He
ranked second in the world on Mark McCormack's world golf rankings in
both 1974 and 1975 behind Jack Nicklaus. Miller won 25 PGA Tour events,
including two majors. Oakmont is the site of his first and only US Open
major victory.
This auction will end on Thursday, June 30th at 10pm ET with extended bidding to follow. All initial bids must be placed by 10pm ET in order to participate on those lots during extended bidding. Lots with two or more bidders will each have their own 30 minute countdown clock, and it will be extended by 30 minutes any time those lots receive a bid. If no bids are placed on a lot within a 30 minutes time period during extended bidding, the lot will close. A 19.5% Buyer’s Premium will be applied to each item won in auction.
