Roughly 150 contestants qualified for this U.S. Open and these pins were only given to those who started on Thursday, including Al Kelly. Highly sought-after contestant pin from 1978 which belonged to "Mr. Monday". This is approximately 1/150. Andy North's first of two US Open titles came at the 1978 US Open at Cherry Hills.  

This auction will end on Sunday, July 31st at 10pm ET with extended bidding to follow. All initial bids must be placed by 10pm ET in order to participate on those lots during extended bidding. Lots with two or more bidders will each have their own 30 minute countdown clock, and it will be extended by 30 minutes any time those lots receive a bid. If no bids are placed on a lot within a 30 minutes time period during extended bidding, the lot will close. A 19.5% Buyer’s Premium will be applied to each item won in auction.
