Up for auction is Walter Hagen’s Personal 1967 Wire Photo of him with Arnie, Cary Middlecoff, and others at his testimonial dinner in Traverse City Michigan, along with the original newspaper article on the reverse. This candid shot is from The Walter Hagen Collection, through Shelby J. Plyler. The final photo shows the certificate of authenticity that was issued by Shelby, in which she explains how she obtained the collection through his companion Doris Brandes. This is the first public offering of this photo in 20 years. 8 1/4" x 7 1/4" 

This auction will end on Wednesday, November 30th at 10pm ET with extended bidding to follow. All initial bids must be placed by 10pm ET in order to participate on those lots during extended bidding. Lots with two or more bidders will each have their own 30 minute countdown clock, and it will be extended by 30 minutes any time those lots receive a bid. If no bids are placed on a lot within a 30 minutes time period during extended bidding, the lot will close. A 19.5% Buyer’s Premium will be applied to each item won in auction.
